More than a major political event for women across the country, the 14th National Women's Congress for the 2026-2031 term has also stood out for its strong application of information technology and digital transformation solutions in the organisation of the event. From management and delegate coordination to document provision, communications, interaction and exhibition, technology has become a powerful support, helping create a modern, professional, economical and efficient Congress.
During the days of the Congress in Ha Noi, many delegates expressed their impression of the new, convenient and environmentally friendly format. Instead of carrying multiple sets of paper documents as in the past, delegates were able to quickly access congress documents, working programmes and event information through digital platforms developed and operated by the Organising Committee.
The digitisation of documents has not only significantly reduced the amount of paper used, but also made it easier for delegates to look up and update the latest information during the Congress. This is a change in step with the digital transformation trend being strongly promoted in the political system and socio-political organisations.

According to delegates, the use of technology has improved operational efficiency, saved time and created greater proactiveness in participation. Announcements, schedules and working content were updated quickly, enabling delegates to follow and grasp information with ease.
The technological imprint was not limited to document digitisation. It was also clearly visible in communications and in promoting the image of the Congress. Many digital media platforms were used in a coordinated way to spread information about the event to a wide audience of members, women and people across the country.
Multimedia products such as video clips, infographics, interactive graphics and digital reportage were carefully produced, helping to convey content in a more lively and accessible way. Rather than dry reports, the figures and highlights of the women's movement and Women's Union work in the previous term were presented visually, creating stronger appeal for viewers.
In particular, many side events at the Congress also made use of modern technology to offer delegates a new experience. Exhibition spaces used electronic screens, smart projection systems and QR codes to introduce notable achievements of Vietnamese women in many fields.
By scanning QR codes, delegates could access a rich database of good models, creative approaches and outstanding examples in the women's movement nationwide. This method not only saved printing costs but also created a fast, convenient and effective environment for sharing information.
Another notable highlight was the introduction of exemplary digital transformation models led by women in recent years. Many technological products and platforms supporting women's start-ups, online business development, e-commerce participation and the digital economy were displayed at the Congress.
These models reflect the strong transformation of Vietnamese women in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. From farmers selling agricultural produce on e-commerce platforms, to women entrepreneurs applying artificial intelligence in production management, to Women's Union officials using digital platforms to connect members, all show that women are gradually mastering technology and adapting to the demands of the new era.
Digital transformation is not simply about bringing technology into operations, but also about changing thinking, management methods and the way members are served. In the context of a large membership base spread across many localities, technology has become an important tool helping the Women's Union improve operational effectiveness and strengthen connectivity.

In recent years, the Vietnam Women's Union has implemented many solutions to promote digital transformation within its system. Many local Women's Union branches have set up online groups and used social media to communicate, share knowledge, help members access information and participate in emulation movements.
The application of technology at this Congress shows the determination of the Vietnam Women's Union to build a modern, professional organisation capable of adapting to the country's development trends. It also concretises the Party and State's policies on developing digital government, digital economy and digital society.
As Viet Nam enters a new stage of development with ever-higher demands for innovation, digital transformation has been identified as one of the key drivers of growth and national competitiveness. To avoid being left behind, women need digital knowledge, digital skills and equal access to technology.
For that reason, many delegates hope that the 14th Congress will continue to propose concrete solutions to support women's deeper participation in digital transformation, especially women in rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas, as well as vulnerable groups of women.
The 14th National Women's Congress marks not only a new term for the Women's Union, but also opens up development orientations in line with the spirit of the times. The image of delegates using electronic documents, interacting on digital platforms, accessing information via QR codes and visiting modern technology exhibition spaces has shown a new face of the Women's Union in the digital transformation era.
From a Congress that strongly applies technology, it is clear that the Vietnam Women's Union's drive for renewal is being realised through concrete actions. This is not only a change in the way a major event is organised, but also an important step in building a modern Women's Union, closer to its members and ready to accompany Vietnamese women in the digital era, the era of national advancement.
