Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc and Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Women's Union Le Thi Thuy present the 2026 Vietnam Women's Award to five organisations.

The Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee held a ceremony in Hanoi on the evening of October 16 to present the 2026 Vietnam Women's Awards. The event marked the 96th anniversary of the Union's establishment (1930–2026) and Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20, honouring organisations and individuals whose outstanding achievements and sustained contributions have supported the country's development.

Over more than two decades, the Vietnam Women's Awards have become a prestigious distinction with a wide-ranging impact on society. They recognise women's creativity, perseverance and intelligence across diverse fields, while encouraging women from all walks of life to strive for excellence and contribute to national construction and defence.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Women's Union Le Thi Thuy praised the award recipients. She stressed that the 2026 awards recognised outstanding groups and individuals for their achievements and significant contributions across various areas of social life. Each recipient, she said, exemplified women's intelligence, resilience, determination, sense of responsibility and creativity, reaffirming their capabilities and standing while helping promote the positive values of Vietnamese women.
