In the digital era, digital transformation is no longer an option, but an inevitable path to development.

For the 2022–2027 term, the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress identified "Renewing the Union's operational methods, with a focus on applying information technology" as a breakthrough.

In 2024, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation. The resolution provides an important basis for the Vietnam Women's Union to identify key tasks and make an active contribution to digital transformation across the political system.

For the 2026–2031 term, the Resolution of the 14th National Women's Congress identified the breakthrough as "Comprehensive digital transformation across the Union system; renewing its content and methods of operation, with a strong focus on the grassroots, staying close to and serving the people."

This is not merely a change in technology, but also a shift in thinking, operational methods and the way the Union accompanies women in the digital era. Guided by the Resolution of the 14th National Women's Congress, a new chapter in the Union's journey has begun, with the ambition of bringing digital transformation closer to every Union official, member and grassroots organisation.
