List of 24 members of the Standing Committee of the 14th Central Committee of the VWU
Politburo Member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, on behalf of Party and State leaders, presented flowers to congratulate the 14th Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union for the 2026-2031 term.
On June 18, at the solemn session of the 14th National Women’s Congress for the 2026-2031 term, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of the 13th VWU, reported the results of the first meeting of the 14th Central Committee of the VWU.
At the meeting, 100 per cent of the attending Central Committee members voted to elect Ms. Le Thi Thuy, a member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the 13th VWU, to continue serving as President of the 14th Vietnam Women's Union for the 2026-2031 term.
The three Vice Presidents of the 14th Vietnam Women's Union are:
- Ms. Tran Lan Phuong, deputy of the 16th National Assembly, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union.
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, member of the Party Committee Standing Board, Vice Chairwoman of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union, and Chairwoman of the Central Union's Inspection Commission of the first term.
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, member of the Party Committee Standing Board, Vice Chairwoman of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union.
At the same meeting, 100 per cent of the attending Central Committee members also voted to approve the Standing Committee of the 14th Vietnam Women's Union, comprising 25 members. At the first session, the Central Committee elected 24 members, with one position to be completed later.
Among the 24 elected Standing Committee members, 11 are from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union:
1. Ms. Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union.
2. Ms. Duong Kim Anh, Deputy Director of the Viet Nam Women's Academy.
3. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Permanent Deputy Head of the Department of Women's Affairs.
4. Ms. Pham Thi Huong Giang, Head of the Department of Women's Affairs.
5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, member of the Party Committee Standing Board, Vice Chairwoman of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union.
6. Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, member of the Party Committee Standing Board, Vice Chairwoman of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union, and Chairwoman of the Central Union's Inspection Commission of the first term.
7. Labour Hero Nguyen Thi Hoa Le, representative of the Central Union's capital stake at Hoa Binh Viet Nam Tourism Joint Stock Company, and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Binh Viet Nam Tourism Joint Stock Company.
8. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee.
9. Ms. Tran Lan Phuong, deputy of the 16th National Assembly, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Central Party Committee, and Permanent Vice President of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union.
10. Ms. Khuc Thi Hoa Phuong, Director of the Vietnam Women's Publishing House, Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.
11. Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuong, Chairwoman of the Board of Members of TYM.
The bloc of agencies under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee has two members:
12. Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Linh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Director of the Community Support Centre.
13. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Director of the Museum of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Director of the Viet Nam Women's Museum.
The bloc of provincial, municipal and sectoral Vietnam Women's Union organisations has seven members:
14. Ms. Doan Thi Le An, deputy of the 16th National Assembly, member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang Province, and Chairwoman of the Cao Bang Provincial Women's Union.
15. Ms. Le Kim Anh, deputy of the 16th National Assembly, member of the municipal Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Noi, and Chairwoman of the Ha Noi Women's Union.
16. Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Army Women's Board.
17. Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong, member of the municipal Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang, and Chairwoman of the Da Nang Women's Union.

The bloc of central agencies and member organisations has four members:
21. Labour Hero Thai Huong, President of the Vietnam Association of Female Entrepreneurs, General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, and Chairwoman of the TH Group Strategic Council.
22. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society.
23. Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation.
24. Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On behalf of the 14th Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Ms. Le Thi Thuy expressed sincere thanks for the attention and leadership of the Party, the State and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as well as the trust placed in the Congress.
She affirmed that the new Central Committee would promote unity and strive to implement the resolution of the 14th National Women's Congress effectively, helping the women's movement and Union work develop comprehensively and contribute to the successful fulfilment of the country's development goals.
The 14th Central Committee of the Union hopes to continue receiving the attention, coordination and support of all levels, sectors and women's members across the country in order to fulfil its assigned tasks successfully.
